John’s Crazy Socks, alongside the Doug Flutie, Jr. Foundation for Autism and Rangam, has announced the winners of the Seventh Annual Autism Can Do Scholarship. First-place winner Evelyn Walters will receive a $5,000 scholarship, and her "Bee Kind" sock design will be produced and sold. Runner-ups Allison McGoldrick and Wilbert Sullivan will also receive scholarships for their creative sock designs. With nearly 400 applicants, this scholarship continues to celebrate the talents and achievements of individuals on the autism spectrum.
John and Mark X. Cronin, co-founders of John’s Crazy Socks, spoke to Long Island University entrepreneurship students about building a mission-driven business. They shared their journey, from selling socks to running the world’s largest sock store, while emphasizing the importance of social impact, resilience, and community engagement. Their talk inspired students with real-world lessons and a call to create businesses that make a difference.

We held a ribbon cutting and officially opened the doors to our brand-new Warehouse Store at John’s Crazy Socks. It was an all-day celebration with dancing, music, fun and, of course, socks, socks and more socks.
